After an unexpected but mercifully brief encounter with cholangiocarcinoma, Carl Knells passed away at home in Canmore on July 29, 2025. Carl loved cooking, skiing, winters in Merida, and telling tall tales. He is missed terribly by his wife, Katharine Kinnear, and his dog Tita.
