Thelma House

The House Family would like to acknowledge and give their heartfelt thanks to all the staff, doctors and nurses for their care, friendship and compassion given to our mother, Thelma House during her time spent in the Bow River Lodge, the Canmore Community Care and the Canmore General Hospital and also Anne Marie, her guardian angel and all her dear, close friends in Building A. We know our mother's life was made more comfortable with the attention, love, friendship and care she received. She was always thankful for her care.

We would like to extend our appreciation to mom's "Wednesday Group" outings and participants (present, past and staff); she always looked forward to it along with her monthly visits to the Legion. Not to forget her always pleasant and ready to give a hand cab drivers from Cougar Creek Cabs. I am sure we have left someone out and I apologize, but you all know how special you were to our Mom.

Thelma moved to Extended Care in Calgary in January 2011,

although her heart remained in Canmore and her beautiful mountains.

Thelma, who was 88, passed away peacefully on June 24th
