Peter Hotan, born in Basel, Switzerland, passed away peacefully in the Banff Mineral Springs Hospital following a personal struggle with cancer at the age of 63 years.
Peter has been in Banff for many years, during which time he worked as a cook, a waiter, a taxi driver and in retail sales.
He is survived by many friends in Banff and his sister in Switzerland.
A gathering of Peter's friends was held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Tommys Neighborhood Pub starting at 2:00 pm.
