It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Paul Cavanagh after a short fight with cancer. Paul had been with the staff of the Mineral Springs Hospital for nearly 25 years and always had a smile, hug, joke or kind words to share and always looked out for others especially caring for our seniors.
Paul was the son of Pierre & Noella Cavanagh, both deceased, and was the brother of Jacques (Helene); Diane (Laurent) Daigle; Pierrette (Yvon) Brisson; Ginette (Richard) Thoma; and Raymond. Paul will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews and his numerous friends across the country.
Paul had a very special connection with the people of Banff which he considered his second family. He will be missed by all.
A gathering of friends and family to share memories and stories of Paul was held Friday, May 6, 2011 at Melissa's Steakhouse.
In light of his interest in the residents of St. Martha's Place, a memorial fund has been established, in Paul's name, to support activities of the residents.
We would like to thank all who have made his life so rich and full and who were there for his family in their time of need. You have humbled us with your love and support.
He will be sadly missed.
