Nettie Tworowski

Nettie left us quickly, early in the morning of December 14th.

Like her late husband Stan, she led a full 89 years of life. She leaves behind daughters Sharon Riva (Richard – deceased), Diane Scott (Scotty) and grandchildren Kelli, Kyle, Chelcy and Mandea. She was predeceased by her father Nicholas, mother Alexandra and siblings Mary, Anne, Jean, Henry, Katy, Bill and Rena.

Nettie had a feisty spirit and an enormous, loving heart. She expressed her love through big hugs and good food and tried to feed anyone as soon as they walked through the door. Her famous cabbage rolls, perogies and borscht will never be forgotten.

She had a sweet spot in her heart for all animals and loved her

grand – animals fiercely (dogs, cats and even a magpie).

Her infectious giggle and sense of humour touched everyone she met and will be dearly missed in our community and family. We hope that she is out there dancing the polka with her beloved Stan.

A private family service will be held at Nettie's request.

In lieu of flowers, it was Nettie's request that donations be made to your local animal shelter or Humane Society.
