Neil Bell

On the morning of October 23, 2015, Neil Alexander Bell passed away with his loving wife Astrid at his side. Born on November 30, 1934 in Banff, he lived all but five years in the Bow Valley surrounded by the mountains he loved.

Neil is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Astrid. He will also be missed by his sister-in-law Gena and brothers-in-law Olaf and Edwin as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends from coast to coast.

Neil and Astrid enjoyed travelling to other countries and after retirement, to the southern United States in the winter.

His easy-going manner and love of socializing enabled him to make friends easily.

Neil was a lover of art in all forms and saw beauty everywhere.

An avid collector, he lived a full life surrounded by his amazing collections, wonderful friends and family.

Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will take place later in the year.
