Manley Flynn

Manley Douglas Flynn, CGA., passed away peacefully at St. Martha's Place, in Banff on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at age the age of 88 years.

The last surviving member of his family, he was predeceased by his parents Jim and "Casey" Flynn, sisters Patricia (Stosh) and Doreen and brother Rusten. He was predeceased by his wives Agnes and Rhoda.

Manley is survived by his children Douglas (Linda) of Smithers, BC, Paul (Angela) of Canmore and Laurinda of High River, grandchildren Shane and Adrian Flynn, Colin Flynn (Amy Leung) and Mallory (Jack) Kingsley and Sean (Tanya) and Alan Chakowski, as well as three great grandchildren Molly and Nixon Kingsley and Gabriel Chakowski.

Legion Service of Remembrance was held Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Field of Honor, Canmore Cemetery with a memorial tribute following at the Royal Canadian Legion, Three Sisters Branch #3, Canmore

In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to remember Manley may make donations in his memory to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.
