Lorraine Gordey

Alta Lorraine Gordey was born to Cecil and Ann Short in Wetaskiwin, AB. and passed away at home in Canmore.

Lorraine is survived by her sisters, Shirley (Archie) Hubman and

Patricia (Sam) Kay. She had two children Terry (Cathie) Gordey

and Tammy (John) Brewster.

Lorraine is also survived by her grandchildren Curtis (Lynda) Gordey, Marcia Gordey (Chad May), Carly Brewster (Rob Stolte) and Dylan Brewster (Candace Garrett) as well as her great-grandchildren

Sloane Gordey, Sawyer Stolte and Josh and Jarrod May.

Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ernie Gordey and one brother Gordon Short. She was an active volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross, the Royal Canadian Legion and the Canmore Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.

As was her request, there will be no funeral service. She asked, instead that everyone donate an hour of their time to a charity of their choosing.

Lorraine will be laid to rest with her husband Ernie

in the Canmore Cemetery later in the year.
