Jim Petersen

James Oliver Petersen was born in Drummondville, Quebec and grew up playing hockey in the back yard with the neighbourhood kids and his sister Marnie. His life took him to Nova Scotia for high school, Queens University and on to Calgary where he married Lea Heath and became the proud father of his two daughters, Haleigh and Chelcia. He lived in Calgary for many years watching his daughters grow up and become the wonderful young women that they are today.

Jim worked in marketing and particularly enjoyed being a part of the Calgary Olympics. In the last few years he moved to Canmore and spent his time between here and Florida where he met his fiancé Lynn.

Our thanks go to the staff of the Canmore Hospital for the compassionate care he received while he was in their care.
