Jack Boham

Jack Boham passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Banff Mineral Springs Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Born Norman Jack Boham on May 2, 1930 in Toronto, Jack is survived by his wife Carol, his son John and his stepchildren Julie and Stephen.

If you knew Jack, you'd know he could find the best in everything and he insisted that his passing not be a cause for concern or sadness. He was comfortable and aware and, in true Jack fashion, he managed his affairs right 'til the end.

Jack's wish was to hold a Celebration of his Life once the busy Banff summer winds down. We will gather at the Banff Fenlands Recreation Centre on Friday, September 13, 2013 between 1 and 3 pm to remember Jack and his effervescent personality and his indomitable spirit. We'll have some laughs, tell some stories, even sing a few songs and, as Jack requested, shed very few tears.
