Harry Wing

HARRY (HENRY) IAN WING, age 86, of Canmore passed away peacefully at the Canmore Hospital in the early morning hours of November 12, 2013.

Harry was predeceased by his wife Mary and is survived by his sons Scott (Sandy) of Canmore and Ian (Joanna) of Aurora, ON; grandchildren Jessica, Michael, Ainsley and Melissa; and brother Bob and sisters Dorothy and Pam.

Harry will always be remembered for his quick one-liners to make you laugh. As dad would say, if you do anything, make sure you put a smile on someone's face each day.

Many thanks to all the staff at Bow River Lodge for making dad's life easy these last few years and to the nursing and cleaning staff at Canmore General Hospital, you are simply awesome for the care that you gave dad. A special thanks to Dr. Quinlan and colleagues for being there for when you are most needed. And to Dr. Balharry, thanks for taking care of dad all these years.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Canmore and Area Health Care Foundation, 1100 Hospital Place, Canmore T1W 1N2.
