Gen Gyek Goon

Gen Goon, age 103 years, passed away suddenly in Banff. Predeceased by her loving husband Yuk Soy Goon in 1978 and by her son Dean Hing Goon in 2006, she is survived by her son Howie (Lena) and her daughter Gim Goot as well as grandsons Stephen (Melanie), Michael (Kimberley), Patrick and great granddaughter Aubree. She is also survived by two grandsons and four granddaughters in Guangdong Province in China.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, March 31, 2010 in the Rundle Memorial United Church in Banff. She was then laid to rest next to her husband in the Mountain View Cemetery, Banff National Park.
