Fumiko passed away suddenly at the Banff St. Martha's Place long-term care on November 5, 2014 at the age of 82 years
Fumiko was born in Tokyo, Japan and moved to Canada in 1999 to enjoy time with her grandson. Fumiko was an outgoing and adventurous individual. She enjoyed patchwork, shuji (Japanese Calligraphy) and spending time with family and friends
Fumiko is survived by her son Tadashi (Yvonne) and grandson Simon.
She was predeceased by her husband Yoshiaki in May 2013.
The family wish to thank all those who cared for her over the past few months. Thank you to all those who visited her. She really enjoyed the good company.
As was Fumiko's request, cremation has taken place and the family will have a private remembrance.
