IN LOVING MEMORY OF

In Loving Memory of Fue Kato
Fue Kato was a devoted dad, stepdad, husband, and grandpa whose life was rooted in love for his family and community. He gave endlessly of himself to those around him—always ready to help, always showing up with generosity, kindness, and a steady heart.
Above all, Fue loved his family deeply. One of his greatest joys was cheering on Hibiki at hockey. Whether in the stands or in spirit, his pride and encouragement never wavered. Supporting his family was not just something he did; it was who he was.
Fue cared deeply about his community and the people in it. He believed in lifting others up, offering support without being asked, and creating connections that made everyone feel welcome and valued.
He faced his battle with cancer with remarkable dignity, hope, and strength. Through it all, Fue never gave up. His courage and perseverance were an inspiration to everyone who walked beside him on that journey.
Fue will be remembered for his generous spirit, his unwavering love for his family, and the quiet yet lasting impact he made on so many lives. He will be missed more than words can express and remembered always in the hearts of those who loved him.
A special and heartfelt thank you to the Bow Valley Timberwolves family, Canmore Minor Hockey, and Banff Minor Hockey for the love, compassion, and support you showed Fue and our family during this journey. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
