Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Baggott

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Betty's peaceful passing in Canmore at the age of 85.

Of Irish descent, Betty was born in Ruislip, England where she spent most of her life until moving to Calgary, Alberta after marrying lifelong friend, Bryan Baggott in 1998. They spent 14 years together sharing a mutual passion for the outdoors, volunteering, and travelling of which they had many trips abroad. Betty was also an arts and theatre enthusiast, especially enjoying her season tickets to the Alberta Ballet.

Betty was happiest since moving to Canada where she quickly became an important part of the Baggott family. Her extended family live overseas primarily in the UK and Northern Ireland. Betty has lived in Canmore for the past 7 years being closer to her two stepsons and stepdaughter (their spouses) and her grandsons. She enjoyed

the mountain lifestyle, strolling through town, participating in the church community, and developing some wonderful friendships.

The family would like to extend a big thank you to all the staff at Origin Spring Creek for their kindness and caring of Betty over the years.
