Donna and Jim lived most of their lives in Edmonton, where Donna was an educator in many capacities over the years. They chose to retire in Canmore because of their love of the mountains. She liked to hike, ski, and canoe here. They did love to go salmon fishing on the West Coast, and went many times.
A lot of her time here was spent volunteering for anything that was happening in Canmore, and walking her dog on the many pathways. Their winters were spent in Mesa, Arizona with many friends, golfing, and having good times. Over the years they did a lot of travelling to all the places they wanted to see. But Canmore was home.
Donna had a very good life with lots of laughs, lots of friends, and wonderful adventures. She was very thankful. It is now time to rest in peace. Love you.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donna's memory to the Bow Valley SPCA (https://www.bowvalleyspca.org/donate/invest-their-future/).
