Dekanawindah Dakota Hiawatha, born Joseph Claude Alain Pierre Mondou to parents Bernard Mondou and Madeleine Goulet in Montreal, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Canmore.
He is survived by two son, Carl and Dean Mondou in Quebec
as well as friends in the Bow Valley.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 in the Trinity Bible Church, Canmore with interment which followed in the Canmore Cemetery.
Services provided by Russ Reynolds and Bow River Funeral Service.
