Tony Hague, a beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, in Canmore, Alberta. Born on March 23, 1939, Tony lived a life dedicated to both his family and his passions, leaving behind a legacy of love and respect. He was a long-term resident of Canmore from 1980 until his passing.

Tony's professional journey began with an Electrical Engineering Degree from Manchester University in the United Kingdom, which he received prior to moving to Canada. He commenced his career at Lafarge Canada, where he made significant contributions from 1971 to 1981. Following his time at Lafarge, Tony explored opportunities around the world, gathering experiences that enriched both his professional and personal life until his retirement in 2000.

In addition to his impressive career, Tony was known for his vibrant interests and hobbies. He had a deep-seated passion for music, often dedicating his free time to playing classical piano. Nature was another source of joy for him; he enjoyed hiking and backpacking, as well as cross-country and downhill skiing. Tony also cherished the simple pleasures of life, such as walking his beloved black Labrador, Magic, several times a day.

Tony is survived by his loving spouse, Coral Hague, and their two children: son Stephen Hague (Christa) of Sturgeon County, Alberta, and daughter Cindy Hague (Bob Andreychuk) of Lac Des Arcs, Alberta. He was the proud grandfather of Daniel, Kendra, and Ember. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Hague (Cher), residing in Australia. Tony was predeceased by his parents, Freda and Roland.

Tony Hague will be remembered fondly for his kindness, his love of adventure, and his unwavering dedication to his family. His memory will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canmore Hospital.
